4-week group pitching camp will teach the basic fundamentals of pitching along with advanced age specific strategy with game situations. Each student will go away with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and will be armed with dozens of drills and practice items to improve their physical skills and muscle memory.
About Coach Eric Potter Eric is a left-handed pitcher currently in the Oakland A's organization, He was drafted i the 2011 MLB Draft out of the University of Maryland, Colleg Park. Eric pitched four years at Maryland, primarily as a starter. Before that he graduated from Arundel High School in Gambrills, MD where he was part of a MD State Championship team in 2006 and he was an all Anne Arundel county selection in 2007. Eric has run and assisted with many youth camps and clinics within the local area. He also assists with the Potter Baseball Tour run by his dad, Jeff Potter. Eric earned his degree in Kinesiology, Excercise Science.

Winter 2012 Baseball Hitting Camps

4-week group hitting camps will teach the basic fundamentals of hitting: stance, negative move, toe touch, heel plant, connection, bat lag, contact, extension and finish. Each student will go away with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and will be armed with dozens of drills and practice items to improve their physical skills and muscle memory.
Session 3: Feb 4,11,18,25 8AM-9:30AM (7 yrs-11 yrs) Session 4: Feb 4,11,18,25 9:30AM-11AM (12 yrs and up)
Cost: $99 per person (for 4-week camp)
Each camp is limited to 12 players. Camp limits may be extended if additional instructors are available.
Always Available Baseball Clinics: 1) Team Hitting Clinics (Age/Level Based) ATTENTION COACHES: We will be pleased to conduct a hitting clinic(s) with your team to prepare you for the upcoming season. Clinics will be structured to your specific needs and requirements. Pricing will be based on the scope of the clinic. Example: A 2-hour (hitting specific)clinic for a team of 10-15 players would cost approximately $180 ($12-$18 per player). Instruction would be administered by a facility instructor and assistant. Instructional content would include
instruction on the 12 steps for successful hitting along with drills and actual practice time. ATTENTION PARENTS: If the cost of private lessons is a bit too much for your current budget and you still want your young athelete to experience professional instruction, a clinic may be your most economical alternative. If you arrange for a group of 4 players for a clinic we'll structure that clinic around your group's needs. A 4-player clinic that meets an hour per week over a 4-week span would cost $100 per player. That's 4 hours of professional instruction at a fraction of the Private Lesson cost.
