HOW "ALL-YOU-CAN-HIT" WORKS:
(OPEN TUNNEL FORMAT)
For Baseball (Iron Mike Machines)
Each machine pitches a cycle of 18 pitches
The start of each cycle is initiated by the hitter pressing a button in his/her cage
Players take turns at the machines for length of session
Machines currently hold about 180 baseballs; players must return batted balls to machines after every 10 rounds. All players hitting in a cage are expected to help retrieve balls and return them to the machines.
For example:
If session is full (5 players per machine) you can expect about 12 rounds of hitting (216 pitches)
If session is half-full (2-3 players per machine) you can expect about 24 rounds of hitting (432 pitches)
If you're the only one there (or even if there are 1-2 others), you'll get more swings than you care to take!
For Softball (AccuFire II Machines)
Each machine holds 30 softballs and will pitch all 30 balls unless stopped
Players take turns at the machines for length of session
Hitter must retrieve balls and return them to the machine after each turn (round of 30 pitches)
For example:
If session is full (5 players per machine) you can expect about 8 rounds of hitting (240 pitches)
If session is half-full (2-3 players per machine) you can expect about 16 rounds of hitting (480 pitches)
Less players, more rounds per player!
For Slow-Pitch Softball (Phantom Machines)
Machine is a SINGLE FEED "dual-wheel" pitching machine; as such, you must bring a friend to feed softballs to one another
Players take turns at the machines for length of session
Hitter must retrieve balls and return them to the machine after each turn (bag of balls)
